SOUTH AFRICA
May 2011 saw the band making thier first appearances on another continent by being part of 'The Dark Side Of The Blues Tour' in South Africa. Four shows at top venues in Johannesburgh were greated with great response from local blues fans and musicians a like who came to watch the shows. The Mighty Pimps & St.J. Prophesy Project were joined by top SA bands:- Christian Heath band, Son Of 1000 & The Howlin Shibanski, to present an evening 'Where Blues Meets Rock' finalizing the evening with a Jam sessioan between all the musicians. From The success of the tour the Mighty Pimps have been invited back to play at repeat venues as well as invitations to appear in Durban & Cape Town.
Chas, fronted The Mighty Pimps with South African musicians Damian Mayer - Bass Guitar / vocals & Ricki Martins - Drums / vocals.
